What Rachel Has Been Up To

Because I have been working less hours since September, Rachel has become my little buddy. We have been having so much fun spending our mornings together before she goes to preschool and all day on Friday. She really is growing up so fast and even attended Kindergarten Round Up with Mike a while back. She is getting really tall and is such a little talker. I am really blessed to have this "extra" time with her. Mike kind of gets the bum end of this deal. Rae was/is such a daddy's girl, but lately with me home so much, this has changed a bit.

She learned how to blow bubble gum bubbles last year, the bubbles just keep getting bigger and bigger. Her favorite thing to ask you is, "do you have gum?".

Right after Easter, we bought these bunny ears on clearance. She is wearing them everywhere, church, school, outside to play and insists on wearing them to bed. She falls asleep and then I gently take them off and lay them beside her.

Yes, you read the sign right. Rachel will not be the baby of the family come about 5-6 more months. We are expecting a baby Oct. 2nd of this year! Rachel was posing for the picture, she really is just as excited as we all are to have a new addition to our family. Now we'll just need to come up with a different title for our blog!

Kel,
LOVE the sleepy bunny - how adorable is she!
And what a clever way to incorporate your baby announcement...I didn't even see it coming as I was reading the post! And love the little hint of the gender the very last sentence! You are too cute!
