Then dad had to get involved. This is one of the draw backs of having a new home built on an old farm. NO MATURE TREES. Now I am sure those of you who have to rake all Fall long will disagree, but we miss out on some of that Fall time fun/work!
QUOT ABLES
Here are few recent quotes from the girls that I got a kick out of:
When driving by Oakland University recently, the girls said, "there is mom's college". Then Rachel said, "Can I go to college?". Rachel is always wanting to do what everyone else is doing. Dad talked her into staying in preschool until she was at least three!
Over a free ice cream cone the girls received from a walk-a-thon this week, a discussion started about marriage(don't remember for the life of me why). When we asked Morgan, the romantic, who she wanted to marry, she started her description like this. How tall should he be, Morgan? "About as tall as dad". What color hair should he have Morgan? "Blonde" What color eyes? "Green". Do you think he should love Jesus? "Of course". Then Morgan was asked again, so what should he be like? Morgan replied, "Just like dad!" Dad, blonde, green eyed and medium height, was very pleased.

and dad also loves jesus! what a great example he is for his girls.
even at such a young age, it just goes to show how important a father's role is in his daughter's life...a blueprint of her future "prince charming"...very sweet!
Hey anytime you are missing leaves feel free to come over an romp in our yard.
We have 2 mature trees (maple and ?? whatever the one with the helicopter seeds) and we have tons of leaves. Also- we don't rake them until Nov. 1 because the kids I and love playing in them. I'm sure we drive our neighbors crazy but we have lots of fun!
Seeing as how we bag up AT LEAST 50 bags, you can feel MORE than free to come to our house to play. We will even let ya clean:)
Hattie's favorite is to pile 'em up at the end of the slide and and send 'em flying on her way down!
